Our Perfect Hands

Hi I'm Susan.

 

Back in August of 2011, I started a support group called Our Hands on Facebook. I did this for my daughter Samantha, who was 10 at the time, so she would know that there were people out there in the world with hands like hers. Before I created that group, I had searched the internet looking for such, and found nothing. So I figured if I can't find them, they can find us. I posted a little blurb on a Limb Differences site and I think I also posted on a VATERS/VACTERLS group too. Then slowly we gained a few members. Today we have over 80 members in that group and they're from all around the world. And that is great. But then I thought, "Hey! I can do better!" Not everyone has a Facebook page, nor do they want one. So that brings us to this site. We know you're out there and maybe you're looking for a support group so you know that you, your son, your daughter, sister, brother, mother, father, will know that you are not alone either. 

 

Our Facebook group has been filled with kindness, support, wisdom and knowledge and I hope to share that.
